Surinamese Asilidae: Eicherax sp.

Another pair of Asilidae. One of them was repeatedly shaking its abdomen while mating. Is that behaviour necessary to deliver the sperm to the female? Is this done by all Asilidae? And could anybody put a name on this species as well?
