Brazilian Tachinidae #6 - ID Help - Adejeania sp. ?

Not an Adejeania - note that this fly has small palps while Adejeania have massive palps. In fact this one has different shaped antennae too, which I suspect suggests that it isn't even in the Tachinini. ![]() My guess is that this is likely to be related to your original guess of Hystricia sp. (tribe Polideini) but we would only know that if we could see the hind spiracle and check whether the lower calypter has hairs.
