Found this fly a couple of days ago (17th Aug) sunbathing in my garden, close to Hamburg, Germany. I think it's Sarcophagidae, may Sarcophaga? Can there anything be said about species? Thanks a lot, Marc Marc T attached the following image: ![]() [178.01Kb] |

It is Sarcophaga but it isn't possible to identify it, I think. It is female anyway so it wouldn't be much good to catch it either, as male genitalia are used
