Hi I wonder if anyone can help me with this. There was a handful of them in my lighttrap at Utsira, Norway on the night of July 1st. The trap was placed on a grassfield. I found a picture on a Norwegian site that was a good match (T. maxima), but I haven't been able to find another picture of this species that matches the wing markings. This makes me unsure if that picture is correctly IDed, and I want to keep my observations as solid as possible. Thanx for any help. If the abdomen has broad white stripes on the side, P. rivosa (see gallery). If the abdomen is uniformly dark, P. arctica. http://staff.scie...202009.pdf |
