I have run this one through the key in Stubbs and it comes out at his Species C. Does that sound reasonable? Does Species C have a proper name now?

Female, 9mm, from 3 September 2006, east London cemetery park.

No black hairs on scutellum. Lunate spots do not reach lateral margins and not very strongly dipped on the front edge. Frons depressed. Black mark on frons broadly bilobed. Hind femora black in basal half. Sternites alternating black and yellow stripes reaching lateral margins.

from my litle experience I saw that E.corollae can be easy confused with E.luniger (I am refering mostly at females). A far as I know E. corollae doesn't have black hairs on the scutellum.but now when I looked again at your photo and I compare with other pictures from the site, I am not relly convinced that it is E. corollae. It seems that corollae has the spots on the tergites reaching the margins.
And in your picture I didn't see the black hairs, but I looked again and I didn't see that the spots reach the margins.
Take a look yourselfand let me know your opinion.
best wishes, Amalia
