 Found in oak, mixed area near Copenhagen yesterday.
The front foot, brusches and colouring of hindleg seems to fit the pic in gallery. http://www.dipter...to_id=6112

Can the ID bee confirmed?

 D. brevipennis has only one pre-apical bristle on the hind femur, while yours has three. According to my out-of-date British key (Fonseca) it could be D. claviger, which has the lower post-ocular bristles pale (hard to see in the photos). Best wait for the experts Wink

then not brevipennis.
the lower post-ocular bristles seems pale so D. claviger if nothing unexpectet turns up.
