7mm, Clitheroe UK, 2 July 2011 Last June I had a male P. discrepans (http://www.dipter...d_id=39015). This fly from a month later has similar venation but the parafrontal is much wider. This is not a Muscidae. Phyto was a good suggestion to me.

Yes, Musca it is not, indeed, missed the stalk. It should be Phyto but it does not look familiar. I have little experience with discrepans / adolescens It is clearly not Ph. melanocephala. Theo |
