Hello

Does anybody know this larva, found in 03/2006 under the bark of a picea fall down, around 20 mm length ?

If the brown "thing" on the left is the head, then it's Lepidoptera (or Hymenoptera, sawfly), but if it was some kind of wet bark spot or something like that, then it could also be Diptera larva, like Tipulidae or close. Quite hard to tell without clearly seeing what the head or spiracular region looks like Smile
