Many thanks to both of you !!!

I understood from a previous thread that this family is under re-built !!

Nowadays, is Ulidiidae equal to Otitidae ? Or is there some spring of confusion in there ?

Thanks again !! Wink

Ulidiidae = Otitidae; European scientists use Ulidiidae and American Scientists use Otitidae but I think Ulidiidae is correct according to Kameneva and Korneyev, 2006.

I think it is Dorycera sp.Wink

My guess would not be Ceroxys but perhaps Dorycera (though I think the status of that genus compared to Otites is under discussion).

I think it is Otites nebulosa.

Well, thanks a lot to all of you !! Smile

Stephane, I had a look on the web and found this page !

Could we assume that Dorycera sp and Otites nebulosa are somewhat synonyms ?

I guess it would be better to say that some species of Dorycera resemble some species of Otites closer than they resemble other species of Dorycera, at least in some aspects.

Thank you Paul !Smile

So, Paul, Stephane [and all of you !! Cool] is it hasardeous to go to Genus level for this particular one ? Or shall I conserve Otites nebulosa as the true Id (in a moving matter) or at least with a cf. ?

Thanks in advance !! Wink

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
