Thank you very much Chris! If higher resolution would help you can have a look at http://farm8.stat...2639_o.jpg – but perhaps dissection etc. is necessary to determine species in these? I'm happy with genus – just curious to know what it takes to take it to species level

Siphona are just very difficult even with specimens because their identifications depend on so many tiny and overlapping characters. So more photos probably wouldn't help much because even with a specimen many specimens can't be identified with any real confidence
