Small Heleomyzid?

Hello!

Yesterday it was a little bit sunny (6 ?C) here in Ostwestfalen/Germany, and many Diptera were flying. A rather small one (4-5 mm) was sitting on a leaf at the forest edge. Is it a Heleomyzid? It was only half the size as the Suillias which often came to the light in the last weeks.

You are right Juergen - Suillia has 4+1dc and 1or, this Heleomyzid - 3+1dc and 2or. Wait AndrzejWink

Thanks! At least I know now that it's indeed a Heleomyzid. On location I was not sure, it seemed very small to me, more like a Psilid, Pallopterid or one of the lightbrown Lauxaniids. But when I saw the photos, I thought this must be a Heleomyzid.

Hi Juergen, this specimen look like Morholeria ruficornis !
The 3rd femur on M. ruficornis has 2-3 apical bristles !.
