Tachinidae - Tachina ursina about landing...

A fly that was about to land in a near tree branch of Pinus pinaster. This is the first time I saw Tachina ursina. Never spotted it in Viseu. Check here for better resolution: ![]() Enjoy! |

Cool photo - nicely done I just got back from Sorrento and found some tachinids (Peleteria sp. & Kirbya (possibly)) but no T.ursina.

this is really the first record for Viseu afaik. I wonder about Tachina lurida... never saw it. |
