There are four greyish flies in my folders which I'd tentatively labelled at Scatophagids when I first took the pictures, and I'm tempted to upload the three I still think are Scatophagid together. Apologies for taking up more space by not doing this. PS - details: 11 August 2011, In a Domestic Garden in Bosham, West Sussex. Surrounded by saltmarsh, fields, and generally empty houses. I suspect Scathophaga litorea, but without any certitude.

I have a not-very-good picture of it from above, can resize and upload if that helps? |
