Bombyliidae indeed! I think this is a Lomatia sp. But I believe the species is nearly impossible to get by pictures Let's see the opinion of the experts ![]() |

Oh, you're right I think ! I had shot some more redish ones in this place at the same time and identified last year in this forum as Lomatia sp ... I thought this whiter one was something different !!! So thanks a lot !! ![]() |

You are very welcome, Pat! Who knows, there might be a chance it can be identified It stroke me as a little different to the Lomatia sp. specimens I see. As you say, it is whiter than the usual look of them ![]() |
