Might be Rhamphomyia (Rhamphomyia) reflexa but I'd need to see the specimen to be certain.

I have tried the key in Bei-benko again and R. reflexa should have separated eyes so i think it is R. hambergi, the genital fit better to. R. hambergi is'nt in DYNTAXA do you now any synonym? |

Looks like you might be right. According to Fauna Europeae it has not been recorded from Sweden yet. If you are, at any time, willing to part with the specimen, please consider our collection.

Thanks. The species seems to be described by Frey 1916 from Sarek Northern Sweden. The Description should be in Poppius, B., Lundstrom, C. & Frey, R. 1916. Dipteren aus dem Sarekgebiet. Naturwiss. Untersuch. Des Sarekgebirges in Schwed.-Lappland geleit. Dr. Axel Hamborg 4 (1fg. 6): 665-696.[1916.??.??] |

Just a couple of months ago we ascertained the first two hambergi specimens from Finland. But those were females. Thus it seems hambergi populations are on the rise  ... |
