Please determine Tachinidae. Region Malá Fatra -Terchová about 600 m above sea level. Photography was done 30.06.2011.

Hmm, I am thinking that it might be something like Blondelia but I'd prefer to see a specimen for this one, and not guess

Possibly ... the calyptrae do stand off the scutellum ... just not sure about such a chequered abdomen ... didn't really ring any rhinophorid bells with me
