Around 6-6,5 mm. Santo river banks. Lecrín valley (Granada, S Spain). February 21, 2012. First photo: This is the male. I know that because I saw them mate just after these photos was taken. Not Anthomyiidae, I think it is a muscid, Limnophora perhaps. Abdominal black marks suggest this? No doubt the muscid experts will tell us |
