Very difficult to say from one photo (other than it is a tachinid fly) - especially just the lateral view - would be nice to also see a dorsal to check wing venation. But it looks a bit like a Bithia to me Smile Do you have more photos?

Lovely fly - and good photos - but I am still puzzled. Bithia spreta would have hairs on the wing veins and your fly seems not to have them. So, I think I am going to say that it looks very interesting but we really needed the specimen to identify it Smile Unless someone else can see anything that I have missed, of course Smile

Somewhere in that (Leskiini) direction.. Howabout Demoticus plebejus? Looks really nice.
