Hahaha, very nice, Andrzej, but I have to confess that I saw it was a Trixoscelis, but I hardly collected any, knowing well how closely related they are to the Heleomyzidae. I collected some in Hungary, but I gave them all to the museum in Budapest.

hmm, no comments more ... I give the short diagnosis for the female of T. canescens, published in Dipteron last year: Wings with costa and subcostal area including first longitudinal cell blackish darkened, greyish mesonotum with two brown median stripes between the dorsocentrals, reaching scutellum. Female abdomen with a broad and shiny dark brown median band, gray laterally

I thought it was difficult to distinguish the females of T. frontalis for T. similis. Andrzej, could you please explain how you see that you are dealing with a female of T. frontalis and not a female of T. similis?
