Dear forum readers,
the attached photo has been taken on July 10, 2011 in Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, city of Norderstedt (northern suburbs of Hamburg). I am almost sure that the flies belong to the species of Sicus ferrugineus. I do not know if there are similar confusion species, but I haven't found any other looking alike in the picture gallery.
If correctly determined feel free to add picture to your gallery if you like.
Thanks in advance for any comments and
best regards from Germany,
Sabine Flechtmann
