Today, 21th january 2012, found near a stone oak forest, taking a rest and cleaning wings after eating at Rosmarinus officinalis flowers. Camí al Pla de Solls, Beuda, Girona, NE Iberian peninsula, UTM31T DG77, 530 m.

Rafael, I agree. It enterely looks like a female Meliscaeva auricollis. That is what I would say it is. And there are very few other options at this time of the year ![]() |
