Mating pair, images shown separately to allow a slightly better view of each partner.

Place: Chongwe District, Lusaka Province, Zambia.
Habitat: Patchwork of Dry scrub, low intensity farmland (cattle within a few 100m), and residential areas.
Date: 06.11.2011

NB - I don't know if this narrows it down or all robberflies value their privacy, but these two were found in one another's embrace at 19.15, by which time any trace of daylight had disappeared.

(time on camera set to British summertime, one hour behind Zambian time, in case anyone notices time of image capture and becomes confused)
