5 January 2012. Paracas, coastal Peru. In an irrigated garden in this extremely arid region. Length: 4 mm. ID help would be appreciated!

Collected, no. Islas Ballestas, yes, such a wonderful place for bird photography. There must be some interesting guano-loving insects there too, but of course we were at too great a distance to see those! Thank-you, John!
