Hello, I found this fly dead in the water of a pound in the north of Morocco, in the rif, about 1700 meters above the sea, in a forest of Cedrus atlantica and Abies maroccana. Does anyone know the, subfamily, tribe, genus or specie? Thanks. Edited by Carlos Galan on 21-12-2011 01:36 MY COLLECTION IN: http://www.taxateca.com/ordendiptera.html |

Perhaps a female Coenosia (Muscidae)? (The katepisternal setae seem to be arranged in a triangle.) |
