Hello, I found this wasp dead in the water of a pound in the north of Morocco, in the rif, about 1700 meters above the sea, in a forest of Cedrus atlantica and Abies maroccana. Does anyone know the family, subfamily, tribe, genus or specie? Thanks. Carlos Galan attached the following image: ![]() [50.25Kb] MY COLLECTION IN: http://www.taxateca.com/ordendiptera.html |

Yes, Anthomyiidae female, but I doubt if it can be taken much further from the photos.
