Hi

is an ID possible because of the open wings?
any help would be appreciated.

This is definitely a Cheilosia. The eyes seem to be bare and the legs entirely black. Important character then is whether the side of the facial knob is haired. This is most likely a member of the Antiqua group, if one uses Van Veens' key.
