Indeed Anthomyiidae
With relative short prealar, occiput with yellowish hairs, hind tibia with 2 av and genital ventrally projecting, i think Pegomya tabida could make a good change, but i only miss the 2 ad on the midtibia.
Maybe Stephen or Ackland can give also some comment on this interesting one...

Good photo! It is a member of the Pegomya tabida species group which has about 9 species in the Nearctic. This is indicated by the profile of sternite V which is projecting downwards. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to recognise from a photo, as the defining characters are mainly in the genitalia. It would be interesting to have a specimen as some of this group were only recently described by Griffiths in Nearctic Flies.

Thanks everybody! I'd be happy to add these photos to the gallery, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Open 'Gallery Links' on the left of the screen and click on 'Submit photo to Gallery'.
After submitting you wait for the moderators to make their decision. The image will probably appear in the Gallery after a few days.
