Taken by Francisco Rodriguez in Almeria, SE Spain on the 15th April 2011. In bushes in the mountains. Clairvillia? So many similar genera that I get easily lost. Thanks in advance for any help! Wink

There are more shots if needed.

I'm sorry, Piluca, but that is not the same fly.

The first one is a male Clairvillia, there are only two (biguttata and pninae), need to work on that

The second one is an Eriothrix or possibly a Zeuxia.

Well, Theo, I thought so myself, but I belived it was only my imagination due to how much those genera confuse me awkward

I will ask Francisco for more pictures of the second fly.

And thanks for the confirmation of the Clairvillia TumbsUp

Thanks so much again, Theo! TumbsUp

I have just got the stuff for the second fly (he apologizes, there were two flies in the same plant and he got both mixed up). Once I have all prepared I am going to post it in a different thread Smile That's the best thing to do Wink
