It has pubescent aristas. Shouldn't be too difficult to get the genus but I cannot find anything that fits completely. Dinera perhaps? Help, please! Thanks in advance! ![]() Taken in the mountains of Madrid on flowers in a meadow on the 18th August 2011. It is asked a lot. The pattern on thorax and only 3 post DC, if I see that correctly, suggests Dinera carinifrons. The second picture shows a noncomplete excavation in syntergite 1&2, which would agree with carinifrons. By no means sure ID, though Theo |

Thanks soooo much, Theo! Just the fact that I got the genus right (for a change) and a 'cf.' for the species makes me extremely happy ![]() All the best Piluca |
