Hi, in a small forest I saw this fly. My idea would be: Palloptera trimacula. Could someone help me? Thanks and regards, Pia Switzerland, Wattwil SG, 750 msm, 17.08.11 (Fotos: Pia Rindlisbacher) Pia attached the following image: ![]() [91.31Kb] Edited by Pia on 24-11-2011 20:55 |

I recently came across a similiar fly which turned out to be Paraclusia tigrina (Clusiidae) but I think yours does look more like Palloptera trimacula (but I am not an expert!). |
