Can you please help me on what kind of flower fly this is? What species it is would be wonderful to know but I'd be more than happy just getting guidance into what Family or Genus it may belong to.

These photos were taken early June of this year, in southern Sweden in a small open area in the dense forest and with a lake just 30 meters away.
I have only seen this fly on this flower and since they only give flowers early this month (and late May) I don't see them anymore after that.

Ow ,wow, I had given up on a more specific ID on this one.

I was waiting with thanking you tristan as I wanted to see if anyone else could confirm your species naming as you were not SURE, but you WERE spot on Smile nice

So thanks a lot for your help, and thanks Paul for confirming it.

P.S. I have posted this in a lot of other forums but without any help at all on it, so I thought this was going to be one of many more or less "impossible" tasks Smile
