This Doli was 4-5 mm. Is it possibly to tell which genus? I suppose species will be difficult from pictures. Dear Kurt, I'd say you are dealing with a female Dolichopus simplex here. The antennal colour is quite characteristic with the space and pedicel entirely yellow and the 1st flagellomere strikingly and entirely black. Cheers, Marc |
