Hello,
When I was at the Baltic shore in spring 2010 I came across this Dolichopodid with obviously hairy eyes. I am sorry the photos are bad quality; however, I would really like to know which flies are active so early in the year - may be, a Hydrophorus? The pictures were taken at Cape Arkona, on the table of an outdoor restaurant close to the shore, on 26th March.
Thanks for help, Sundew
