Illinois male & female Anthomyiidae

I hope someone can help me put a genus on this flies found feeding on flowers in a in weedy field in northern Illinois.
Female = 5mm, male slightly smaller. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum Smile Some superb photos there - of muscid flies ... someone will be along to give a real name but if you change the title to include muscid then it might attract them faster Wink
