This looks like a Tachinid, but the arista are plumose and while the subscutellum is present, it is not prominent. Malaise trap, Townsville, Queensland. Graeme Cocks attached the following image: ![]() [57.3Kb] |

Yes, it's definitely Tachinidae - possibly tribe Sophiini (if you have it!) or one of the Mintho-related genera Would be nice to key-out a specimen when you have a spare
