Hello Collected yesterday in the mountains, size 8 mm. 4 post dc and hairy eyes but the apical setae of scutellum are not really erected. Perhaps another tribe. pic 1 christoophe attached the following image: ![]() [86.16Kb] |

Parasetigena is a spring species, so that would surprise me. Are you sure the praeapical bristle is small ? it is difficult to see, but it might be large (?) Theo |

by the way, the apicals are not erect in Parasetigena, just semi-erect (angle about 45 degrees, maybe slightly more). Theo |

They are as long as the last post dc. But the tip of the palps is black, my exemplary Parasetigena they are yellow. |

So it can't be Parasetigena, since praealar is small in Exoristini. It keys out to Clemelis pullata and that could be it. Need to check my collection. Theo |

No, it is not Clemelis Do I see a bristle on the backside of coxa3 (first picture) ? That would be great help Theo |

On the side of coxa 3, there is a row of bristles but nothing on the back. |
