Stratiomyidae Microchrysa?

Hi, I had thought this fly was a female Microchrys polita but there seems to be some differences. The front femur is mostly pale, there's a broad white stripe along the side of the thorax and there appears to be yellow hairs at the back of the eyes. Taken on 26th June on the roof of my greenhouse, near Lincoln UK. It was quite small, no more than 5mm. For comparison there's a thrips in one of the photos.
