I doubt this is Ptychopteridae, although the color pattern resembles some. Ptychopteridae lack a discal cell, have one anal vein curving to reach the wing margin, and have the distal part of Cu slightly "S" shaped after the crossvein. |

Female crane fly in the genus Tipulodina . It used to be a subgenus within genus Tipula .
