Found in a gravel pit near copenhagen 5th. july

Certainly Notiphila, but I would leave it to Cranefly to pronounce on the species!

I´ve tranlated Walthers remarks:

"Costa reach only to R4 +5, so it's Notiphila sp.

With the key in the Keys to the Insects of the European Part of the USSR, I can reach Notiphila cf. cinerea based on the following parts: 3 antenneled reddish yellow on the inside; face yellowish brown; Scutum and pleurer without stripes or spots; cheeks relatively high; all Tibi yellowish (or what?); face yellow.

Notiphila cinerea is a common species, judging from the checklist (ZMUC 71, NMA 29)."

Hope Cranefly will see the thread.
