Hi, can anybody identify this fly? To me looks like some Atherix species, but I'm realy not sure. Found yesterday near stream sitting on vegetation. Thanks for help... Radim attached the following image: ![]() [184.07Kb] |

I would say Ibisia sp. (has it bluish hues?) |

Yes, it's probably Ibisia. I think it's just black and grey, don't see any bluish parts. I think it could be this species: http://meloidae.com/cs/obrazky/3011/ - wing pattern is almost identical and this picture was taken not so far from my locality. |

It is Ibisia. My specimens of Ibisia has very soft bluish parts. R4 vein follows a sinusoidal path. Also the vittae on thorax and tergites are typical for Ibisia. Edited by jorgemotalmeida on 03-07-2011 13:57 |
