Hi,

I had a dead baby bird which drowned in my pond, so I left it on the grass to see what flies I got! There was a few of these mostly sitting on the grass next to it so they are probably not the same fly, at such a small size they were not easy to get on a hot day with my nose over a smelly bird. awkward

26th June, near Lincoln UK.
