Found in a small humid glade, near a pool, in Loire-Atlantique, western France, June 02 2011.

I think nobody can help you now, Theo is in Armenia, ca. one month. My first impression, according to black antennae, is H. ocelligera. But it is not ID, just a tip. Libor |

The third antennal segment seems genuinely black. If that it true, H. crassicornis would be the first candidate. I don't think I have ever seen the male of H. ocelligera. Would not expect this species in Loire Atlantique, so that ID would require more evidence. Theo |

Hmm, Theo, antennae seem to be too "thin" for crassicornis. Am I true? Libor |

Yes, I see your point, yet the shape is very variable. Without a specimen and only this pic, it is simply spec. for me Theo |
