Dear Dave, I can assure you that this is not Argyra perplexa, which has, to my knowledge (and I know the species), entirely pale femora, except for the hind ones). Size matters as A. perplexa is one of the smaller European species as well as the presence or absence of setae on the scutellum. But some Argyra females remain very hard to identify. Cheers, Marc |
