Hello, i hope that a determination of this bombyliid is possible? It was basking on a stone on a clearance (small wood). I think it belongs to the genus Villa. Location: Amöneburg (Germany/Hesse); ~ 295m above sea level; May 2011 Thank you very much for attention! It is a male Villa, and further identification is hardly possible (see discussion in thread http://72.44.83.9...;pid=41095  ). |
