I doubt that they are the same species. There are too many differences in colour (legs, wings), leg chaetotaxy, wing venation, etc. I think the first might actually be Sepsidae, the second (for me) has too few visible details. Perhaps Ulididiae?

Thanks Paul. I guess i was wrong twice. I thought they might be m&f of a species. I'll present them again with your suggestions. I was looking at the white abdominal bands mainly. |
