Buckinghamshire, England. 27th May 2011. Is it possible to identify this individual to species? If so I would be interested to know how it can be differentiated from similar related species. This fly has particularly well defined markings on the thorax - is this perhaps age or gender related? Thanks, Bruce Bruce Williams attached the following image: ![]() [186.96Kb] |
