 Syrphid on Allium roseum

Can anybody help with this one ? It was feeding on pollen in a flower of Allium roseum at a grassy forest clearing in the Sierra de Cazorla mountains, southeastern Spain, at 800 m elevation.

The best match in my copy of British Hoverflies (Stubbs and Falk, 2002) seems to be Meliscaeva auricollis var maculicornis. |
