Wouldn't that be quite a remarkable record faunistically - at least according to Merz (1994), matricariae is mainly a Central European if not a Mediterranean species? |

Before Merz, that group of species was hardly recognizeable, so no reliable records over Europe. Anyway, firstly the group is rather boreal and montaneous than really Mediteranean. Secondly, I do not take a liberty to ID the species ultimately without a material. Thirdly, Finland must be still having tephritid surprises.
