Of course I think second picture is another Lepidopter, because it has a cremaster and it is chrysalid, then I guess second picture is a kind of butterfly! ![]() Sincerely yours Sara |

Okay I thought it must me something else than a butterfly or moth. Silly me ![]() Maybe because there was a fly sitting on it. We shall see what will come out of the pupa. Thanks Sara. |

If the larva only has one pair of prolegs in addition to the anal claspers, then it's a larva of one of the Geometrid moths. That narrows it down to about 350 species if we're dealing with a member of the UK fauna. ![]() |
