Hi EDIT [20 MARCH 2023]: This is a new species described in 2023 - Empidideicus carrapateira Evenhuis, Almeida & Andrade, 2023, endemic to Portugal This beautiful 2 mm Mythicomyiidae is an Empidideicus from Carrapateira spotted in 16.April.2011. Soon we'll know the species.  [EDIT: After 12 years]
